I'm not happy with the customer service at all. I have asked for a refund of the shipping, but havn't heard yet.
It was a very cumbersome porcess to send it back. The cable arrived deffective.
The company says they don't refund shipping at all, either way. I had to pay for shipping.
I believe that my credit shoould include shipping both ways. Meantime, there has been no refund at all.
The whole thing has been a rediculous red tape nightmare.
It always happens about 30-40 min after starting so I think it something overheating. For a portable, the picture quality was reasonable. I really enjoyed this unit. Nevertheless, it won't last long enought to get through even a short movie. I always used headphones without complaint. About 1 year after buying it (and taking very good care of it), it would start to freeze. Not typical Sony quality. Very dissappointing.
I love the size of the unit and the fact that I get over 6 hours of active use with the battery -- great for those long flight to Europe. I have had mine for over 6 months and it works like a charm. One of the best units on the market.
I bought this for my daughter, and she loves it. She would rather watch DVDs instead of tv now. It has a beautiful picture and clear sound. It's her most favorite birthday present, ever.
This piece didnt work in India , tried indian cd's/dvd's(region 5) but of no use. I even tried some of the hacks provided in the net.I am just waiting to upgrade the firmware if possible to make it multi region player.
